Food Trucks

Sweet Flow Mobile

Mobile food truck with a variety of vegetarian and vegan salads and wraps. The Chic P and the Sabzi are vegan, and the Guacamole Greens can be made vegan by requesting that they leave off the chicken. Sweetflow Mobile is the mobile component of the Sweetgreen brick & mortar franchise. Find their location on twitter! @SweetflowMobile

Pleasant Pops

Aside from the delicious Mexican-style ice pops, this all-vegetarian cafe also features delicious salads, soups, and sandwiches that are mostly vegan (or can be made vegan). The menu changes with the season because these original recipes are made from locally sourced, sustainable ingredients.

SOL Mexican Grill

SOL Mexican Grill serves up tacos, burritos, and bowls with flaming Mexican flavor. The menu is simply divided into the three above mentioned food groups, all of which can be made vegetarian. Veggie items on the menu come with free guacamole!

Tasty Kabob

This green machine serves up middle eastern cuisine with friendliness and efficiency. Veg choices include vegetable with rice, and sides of chickpeas and spinach. Follow them on Twitter to see where the truck is today! View menu

DC Empanadas

This flavor filled four wheeler brings handmade empanadas to The District. They use only the freshest of local ingredients and have a whole vegetarian menu. Be sure to check out the Veggie Nirvana! Click here to find out where they are today!

District Taco

District Taco, a taco institution so great that it spawned it’s own restaurant, takes the taqueria truck to a whole new level. Their widely praised breakfast tacos, served all day, are a rare and authentic treat. Order the veggie breakfast taco without cheese, and keep in mind that a typical District Taco meal is a three taco endeavor. View menu

Pedro and Vinny’s

By default this burrito food truck steams the tortilla with cheese on it, so if you want a vegan burrito be sure to mention that up front. Both kinds of beans and all of the sauces are vegan, just hold the cheese and sour cream. Food truck is located on the 15th Street side of 15th and K Streets, right next to the CVS. Follow them on Twitter to see where the truck is today!

Chatpat Truck

Every dish at this all-vegetarian Indian food truck is either vegan or can be made vegan (except for the Palak Paneer). Try the pau bhaji or masala dosa!

Captain Cookie

Mobile bakery food truck serving vegan chocolate chip cookies and soy milk featuring three Cookie Trucks and a Cookie Store. Check here to see the Cookie Trucks weekly schedule!
