This Saturday, November 17th is your chance to dine with friendly rescued turkeys at the annual Poplar Spring Animal Sanctuary Thanksgiving WITH the Turkeys and stick around to watch Poplar’s rescued pigs chow down on pumpkins! This potluck is the event of the season! Attendees should bring a vegan (no meat, dairy, or eggs) dinner or dessert item to serve 8 people. A $10.00 donation is suggested to benefit the rescued animals at Poplar Spring. Children under age 16 are free.
VSDC’s Vegan Thanksgiving Feast on Thanksgiving Day in Washington, DC
Join VSDC on Thanksgiving Day for a vegan feast. A mouthwatering 5-course menu awaits Thanksgiving diners. The event, held at the Grand Hyatt in Washington, DC this year will feature nutritionist, Ruby Lathon, as guest speaker. Plus there will be door prizes and kids’ activities.
